About Bodyright

Sue Hamilton started Bodyright in 2001.  Since then, the team at Bodyright has treated hundreds of clients for a wide range of issues including muscular-skeletal, general fitness, post surgical rehabilitation, sports conditioning, and breathing pattern disorders.

Sue's philosophy and high standards are shared across the Bodyright team who are trained in a range of approaches to Pilates and rehabilitation. All have tertiary level certification in anatomy and participate in regular training - both Bodyright in-service training and external professional development programmes.

As well as training in pilates and physiotherapy, some members of the team have specialised advanced training in rehabilitation, kinesiology, acupuncture, sports injuries, scoliosis, chronic pain, visceral manipulation, pilates for women with breast cancer, pilates for dancers and BradCliff breathing.

One of the things that makes Bodyright special is our emphasis on getting the basics right, one of which is breathing. One in ten New Zealanders experience some form of breathing disorder or chronic over-breathing. This can produce a range of disturbing symptoms. But breathing also has a big impact on your posture. Many of our clients are surprised to discover improving their breathing pattern also helps them look and feel better and achieve their fitness goals more quickly.

Bodyright is an excellent studio with friendly knowledgeable staff.
