How do I get started?
Simply call us on 568 9944 to book your sessions or class. During your first session one of our instructors will assess your goals and needs and develop an exercise programme tailored for you. You will continue with this programme for approximately six weeks to establish a base of core exercises to get you started.
An instructor will guide you as you become familiar with your base exercises. In some cases you may also be encouraged to practice at home. Once you have established your initial core exercises, your instructor will review and may vary your programme, depending on your needs and progress.
What sessions or classes do you offer?
Bodyright offers individual programmes and supervised one on one sessions if you are overcoming the effects of injury and long term conditions such as OOS. Individual programmes are a quick and effective way to become achieve post natal fitness, or to assist your recovery from surgery. Dancers, athletes and sports people wishing to improve on their overall performance levels, while at the same time reducing the likelihood of injury, also benefit significantly from individually supervised programmes.
Semi supervised sessions (two clients per supervisor) are appropriate in many cases after the initial one on one assessment and programme development phase has been completed. Unsupervised sessions can be used for programme maintenance, however it is recommended that clients still have regular (ideally monthly) one on one supervised sessions to enable progress to be monitored and your program to be reviewed.

"You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 sessions, and have a completely new body in 30 sessions."What's the difference between pilates and other forms of exercise?
- Joseph H. Pilates.
Instead of performing many repetitions of an exercise, Joseph Pilates preferred fewer, more precise movements. The focus is on strengthening the body's "core muscles:: the abdomen; the lower back and the buttocks, therefore enabling your body to move more freely, creating long, lean, strong muscles and improved joint flexibility.
Pilates is based on individual instruction to ensure correct muscle activation and movement patterns. Although the equipment is different to that found in a gym, there are a few standard pieces of very versatile equipment. We also perform many exercises without equipment, which helps the body learn to stabilise itself. After experiencing a pilates session you will be aware of muscles you never knew you had.
By concentrating on proper alignment, correct breathing and smoothness of motion, you will get in touch with your body and finish your session feeling relaxed and revitalised.
